Fiber Pigtails

A fiber pigtail is a short length of optical fibre with a factory-fitted connector on one end and bare fibre on the other. Installers fusion-splice the bare end to an incoming cable inside a patch panel or splice box, giving a low-loss, factory-quality connector without polishing connectors on site.Our pigtails are available in single mode and OM3 multimode, with SC and LC connectors in UPC or APC polish, and an LSZH jacket. APC connectors are angled to reduce back reflection and are common in FTTH and video networks, while UPC is standard for most data links.
